Fear Of Failure

Fear of failure can stem from childhood trauma or events, to mistakes we’ve made in our lives.
If we were constantly undermined or humiliated in childhood, we can carry those negative feelings into adulthood.
We all have different definitions of failure, simply because we all have different backgrounds, benchmarks, values, and belief systems.

It’s safe to say that failure in some form is inevitable. Most of us will stumble and fall in life and we might make some bad decisions, but how we react to it can make all the difference.

If we take a moment to look at failure from a different perspective, with a growth mindset and see it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve, it’s a game changer!

By looking at failure as an opportunity, we can shift our focus from the negative thought patterns of failure to the positive opportunities and outcomes that can come from it – stepping stones towards success.

So, stop beating yourself up when things don’t go as planned, you can’t control everything.
Stop the negative self talk, it can become a vicious cycle that’s hard to break.
Stop putting so much pressure on yourself, you can’t shame yourself into being or doing better.

Repeat after me, to help overcome your fear of failure…

🤍 I am not my past
🤍 I embrace my imperfections
🤍 I take risks and try new things, even if there is a chance of failure
🤍 I see my mistakes as opportunities for improvement
🤍 I respond to negativity with kindness
🤍 I feel confident and secure within myself
🤍 I back myself, I’ve got this
🤍 I release the pressure to be perfect
🤍 I don’t have to be perfect to be worthy
🤍 I can choose to be afraid, or I can choose not to be
🤍 I trust myself and accept all that I am
🤍 I release the fear of failure and invite the opportunities that flow
🤍 I am aligned and what’s meant for me will be

“What if I fail?” Oh, but my darling, what if you fly? 🤍
