Change - by Tania

Who you were is not who you are.

Who you are is not who you’ll be.

Have you ever looked back on your past with regret?

Regret for the things you did, or didn’t do, or things you should have done?

I definitely have.

One major thing I regret is holding myself to others expectations, or even worse – holding myself to the expectations I thought others had of me!

Once I released myself from expectation, I felt free.

This is something I wish I had done a long time ago.

Change is inevitable.

I have gone through and continue to go through so much change in my life, and I can honestly say that I’ve never been happier. I welcome change with open arms, because with change comes new learning, growth, and connections.

I often look at some of my younger friends, whānau and clients and think “wow, they are so in tune, they are so consciously aware.” I wish I knew then what I know now! But I know everything happens when it’s meant to, and when you are ready to learn the lesson, or ready to take the next journey, you will.

Life is too short for regrets. Don’t live in the past. Make the necessary changes to live life to the fullest.

Embrace change like a new love, and live life for you my friend, always. 💗
